It's been a busy period over on our end, and little bits of news have been creeping in all over, here's a roundup of news from the past few weeks.

Pat Graham's book came out a month ago today. If you haven't grabbed a copy yet, I strongly suggest it. I was able to go through it in detail a week ago and there are a lot amazing photographs as always, and some great behind the scenes stories of those early touring days.

Then there was the long awaited reissue of both This Is A Long Drive For Someone With Nothing To Think About and The Lonesome Crowded West, these last two weeks. Along with the two 7"s that were released along side them, it allows us to attach studio sessions to these old songs. Although the White Lies, Yellow Teeth 7" also states what is perceived to be a typo of late 1996 when the album came out in April of that year. Can anyone actually remember if Long Drive was released April 1996?

The Vinyl reissues also seemed to get a number of limited coloured wax versions. Check the board for images and word on if any of these retailers are still selling copies.

Pitchfork.com reviewed both reissues and gave them a 8.5 and a 10 respectively. I wonder what's changed since that 6.8 in 1996...

Modest Mouse hit the stage again tonight in Houston, TX, followed by a performance tomorrow in Austin, as part of Fun Fun Fun Fest. These are to date, the last performances scheduled for the year.

Lastly, Isaac lent support to Bob Dingethal, earlier this week.
