Alan Goldsher's book "Modest Mouse: A Pretty Good Read" is now shipping from Amazon.com, a few days earlier than was originally planned. I believe it was supposed to only come out next Tuesday and will only be in book stores at the end of the month, so if you want to get it a little earlier and feel like supporting the site (hint, hint), grab it there on the left. If you want a taste of what you'll be getting Alan's put an excerpt up on his blog.

Videos of two new songs surface on YouTube

Clips of two new songs, "Fire It Up" and "Invisible In Your Car", from Modest Mouse's performance on Sunday at the Avalon are making the rounds on YouTube. The audio isn't the greatest, but if you're wanting an idea on how the new material sounds then it's better than nothing. Check out the Media section.

LIVE 105's Not So Silent Night 2006

Modest Mouse are on the bill for LIVE 105's NSSN 2006 at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on December 8th. Other acts include The Shins, The Killers, Silversun Pickups and The Raconteurs. You can get your tickets early by becoming a LIVE 105 Activist, otherwise tickets go on sale this Sunday, November 13 (Which doesn't really make sense, seeing as it's the 12th on Sunday, so check Ticketmaster both days to be safe).
