New Song: Guilty Cocker Spaniel?

The unknown/new song that has been performed at the last 2 shows has been identified as Guilty Cocker Spaniel thanks to MC, who managed to pick up a set list after the show last night in Tempe, AZ. The only lyrics I can make out from the recording that is circulating are "probably never know" and "well I'll just have to let him play until I buy a cat." The song starts out quite playfully until being drowned out in Modest Mouse distortion.

UPDATE: Video from the Los Angeles, CA performance after the jump.

More Tidbits of EP News...

Not only did MC manage to get his hands on the name of the new song from last night's show, but he also managed to track down Isaac in a park next to the venue before the show started. Isaac described the tour as "it's just something to do." And on the subject of the EP... "a couple weeks from now, two songs will be released."

EP Status

Eric mentioned that the EP has been recorded (a fact that has been confirmed by other band members for quite a few months now), but that they were experiencing some "kinks," and that they were hoping to get it out in the next 6 months. There is also the possibility that they may be adding another song. The title they are going with seems to still be the one that Isaac told the crowd in North Myrtle Beach last year: Nobody's Next And You're First.

The rumoured track listing so far consists of:
