The Fly Trapped In A Jar video finally gets an official release

For those of you who don't remember, back in March of 2008, The Saline Project released a music video for Fly Trapped In A Jar.

The video was taken down shortly afterwards, for which reasons were never given. Currently their client page for Modest Mouse, only features a screen shot for the video (The band's name isn't even mentioned) and a message stating:
This is one of our favorite videos we've ever created that unfortunately we cannot show. Lame. It's really fun and beautiful and at some point we'll maybe be able to present an altered version. Ah well, drama...
According to The Saline Project's Twitter feed though, that day might soon be here, almost three years later:
Oh yeah. Excellent news: the project we did for Modest Mouse we can finally put out. So So frickin pleased round here
We're glad to hear that whatever drama was involved seems to be straightened out.

Album Reissues

Back in August, a few copies of a reissued The Fruit That Ate Itself started selling through Isaac's Glacial Pace store, only to be taken down shortly afterwards.

Both The Fruit That Ate Itself and Sad Sappy Sucker now have an official rerelease date of November 9. Both albums have been out of print for a while now, and this reissue will see them back in print again on both CD and LP.

There will be no major differences between the original versions and the reissues, with the only exception being that the CD versions will be released in digipak instead of plastic cases.

Both albums are available for pre-order from Glacial Pace now.
